I would recommend this book.1-Page Summary of The Speed of Trust Overview It didn't hold my attention all the way, but not many books have. The fruit stood for the outcome of competence. Next level up, the branches represented the competency at hand, and intentions. The roots are the type of person you are, honesty, integrity, your core. It also used the tree analogy where the roots, branches, and fruit all have meaning. The book talked about these principles and others like it on several layers. If you have a good track record, make sure other know about it if applicable. Don't be afraid to talk about issues that may be uncomfortable but need to be discussed. Listen to others, be humble, and understanding. This applies to personal goals, relationship, and organizationally. If you say you are going to do something, do it. To me each chapter basically had the same message: Be honest, realistic, and communicate.
